About Maya
Maya Forrest is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work at Andrews University, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. As an MSW intern, Maya is dedicated to providing direct care using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Maya has a strong clinical focus on anxiety and emotion regulation, especially in teens and young adults. She is passionate about helping individuals better understand their emotional experiences, reduce overwhelming feelings, and build healthy coping strategies. Her areas of interest also include depression, life transitions, and personal growth.

Grounded in empathy and authenticity, Maya’s therapeutic approach is client-centered and supportive. She strives to create a safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their challenges. Her goal is to walk alongside each client as they develop practical tools, strengthen emotional resilience, and move toward lasting healing and mental clarity.
